We provide a secure, loving, and nurturing environment for babies while their parents are at work. The teachers have a deep affection for the infants in their care. Along with the physical and developmental tasks provided, the daily routine includes warmth, love, and affection.
We understand that you and your baby will be going through a period of becoming comfortable with your new routine. You are welcome to call or visit any time during the day.
The infant curriculum is based primarily on play. As infants play with toys, observe the world around them, listen to sounds, and interact with caring adults, they are learning. The development of play skills can be significantly enhanced by the quality of teachers’ interactions and the availability of play materials.
Through our infant program, we aim to:
Toddlers are unique individuals – just leaving babyhood, but not yet preschoolers. They struggle with autonomy by being both strongly independent and then suddenly dependent. A curriculum designed for toddlers must address the unique developmental aspects of this group, and be responsive to their needs and interests.
The toddler curriculum at Bright Future includes several key elements that specifically address the needs of toddlers. The teachers plan their weekly activities based on their observations of the children and determine their interests, needs and abilities.
We have designed our toddler program for each child to transition from the sensory-motor world to an increasingly social world and the onset of symbolic thinking.
Throughout the day, children make self-directed and guided choices, participate in small groups and projects, join in brief circle-times with the whole group. The teachers plan activities based on the developmental skills of toddlers. Changes to the learning environment, activities, and projects reflect emerging interests and individual goals. Learning centers offer guided experiences that encompass all the skills and understandings necessary for optimum development and success in school.
The preschool learning environment is designed to provide a high-quality early education setting for your child. At the core of our curriculum at Bright Future are well-planned learning centers that allow for child choice and self-directed play, small groups, and supportive teaching that prepares children for academic excellence.
The development of language, mathematical reasoning, and scientific thought is emphasized throughout all the centers. Changes to the learning environment, activities, and projects reflect emerging interests and individual goals. Learning centers offer guided experiences that encompass all the skills and understandings necessary for optimum development and success in school.
Learning Centers are supplemented by any number of independent learning activities designed for use by one or two children. Throughout the day, children make self-directed and guided choices, participate in small groups and projects, join in circle-times with the whole group, and talk about their learning experiences. Children are guided to critical learning experiences that form the building blocks of healthy development. Teachers use their talent and expertise to design, adapt, and invent learning centers that best serve the children in the room.
The program is designed for each child to learn all the necessary skills and understandings to succeed in kindergarten and continue to thrive academically and socially. We believe that by providing an atmosphere of love, respect, and understanding, your child will have the beginnings of a BRIGHT FUTURE.
We encourage children to learn through play. Children learn at their own pace through singing, dancing, playing, experimenting, and interaction with other children. Each room is arranged in an open, but inviting area to learn. Each learning center promotes exploration, social skills, and brain and language development.
Our learning centers include a block corner, large muscle activity center, creative art center, dramatic play area, science area, reading corner, and music area. The sooner kids love to learn, the sooner they will, and sometimes individual attention can make all the difference.
